eBay Dropshipper - Dropshipping on eBay for Fun and Profit

eBay Dropshipper - Dropshipping on eBay for Fun and Profit

 by John Freech

If you are looking to start a new eBay business and earn full time, but do not have a lot of start-up capital, there is good news for you. Every year, many people leave their nine to five year job and start living the eBay way. You probably think it sounds good, but I have nothing to sell.

Well, you are wrong - with the help of drop shippers, everyone has a product to sell! Drop shippers are companies that specialize sends goods directly to the end consumer on behalf of another party who makes the actual sale. Using a drop shipper eliminates the need for expensive inventory and other start-up costs.

The process is simple - you have just set up an auction for an item available from your drop shipper. When the item sells, you pass the customer information to the delivery company. They will then pack it and ship it to your customer. They will put your company information on the package, including your company logo. When the product arrives, the end consumer will have no idea that the merchandise comes from a third party. With the need to pack and ship eliminated, you will have more time to set up auctions and market products, thus increasing your profit potential.

When you set up your eBay auctions, you must, of course, make sure that the item will sell more than it will cost after taking into account all fees. An easy way to do this is to take your cost, including shipping, add 10%, and use it as the minimum bid. Charge a few dollars for shipping, and you will be guaranteed a profit when it sells. Adding a buy-it-now option of 10 to 20% above the minimum bid encourages people to pay a little more to get the item they want faster.

Before listing an article, you will want to do some research on past eBay sales and current listings to make sure no one sells the item for less. You do not want to list an item that has little chance of success because you will still have to pay an unsuccessful auction registration fee.

To succeed, you will need to establish relationships with several shipping companies. When you start for the first time, these companies will ask you to pay for the goods before they are shipped. So use a credit card to ensure fast delivery.

You do not want to risk a negative feedback caused by a slow delivery. Once you have established yourself, many companies give you a line of credit, which allows you to ship the items before paying.

Starting an eBay Drop Shipping shipment, involves very little financial risk. You will not buy any products until you have a paid order, so you will not be stuck with an unwanted inventory; At worst, you will lose time and lose a few dollars in fees. This is one of the few companies that you can start making a profit before having real expenses!
